This project is inspired by the work of the African artist El Anatsui, whose work is focused on turning discarded metal into objects of striking beauty and originality. We believe that affordable thinking involves appreciation and utilization of every source of energy available including the unnoticed by-products of the existing not-so-efficient systems such as: the unemployed workforce and educated people, different waste materials, the resourceful unused land beneath us and the plentiful renewable energy sources.
