VICTORIA & ALBERT BOOK

25 /  10   /   2012

The book was about conveying
both shifts in style, politics and economies of British design over the period from the British Coronation till 2012. The challenege was about conveying a huge range of material to include, from very large industrially produced objects to small hand- made craft pieces, as well as contextual material and ephemera.

As the V&A is famous for their decorative arts, the concept was initiated upon patterns that would show the variations of design within the period discussed. The typeface, layout and type of patterns were created to match the art movement presented in the book.
